Meandering across Pennsylvania

We recently had a delightful time taking the byway rather then the highways across part of Pennsylvania!

Beautiful views from mountain tops…
Exploring lovely woods…
And meandering creeks and waterfalls…
Through a tunnel under a mountain…
So dark at times…a few stumbles and falls…a good reminder of Psalm 119:105…”Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.” It was amazing what a tiny light did to keep us from stumbling and falling in that dark tunnel!
So much beauty to see and explore…
Some quiet moments too… To soak it all in!
So much to see…a meandering trail through a beautiful evergreen forest… With scripture etched into rocks, from over 100 years ago…
New trails and places to explore…
So much fun together!
A hillside of black-eyed Susan’s!
Mountain lakes
Ornate structures and buildings from another time…
