Medina, Texas

Early in the fall I read about a little town named Medina, several hours away in the Texas hill country. We certainly miss the Medina we are from, so I thought that would be fun day trip!😊 One beautiful fall morning we set out, and enjoyed the scenic byways and highways!

Medina!

Medina, Texas is known as the ā€œapple Capitol of Texasā€ due to the apple orchards there. From what I have seen apple trees and orchards are not common in Texas…which isn’t surprising since apples prefer a cooler climate.

It is a very beautiful area around Medina, the water is crystal clear and cypress trees line the rivers and creeks.

Everything was glowing from the setting sun! It was a delightful day, peaceful and pleasant, exploring new areas and taking in the beauty of our Creator.

Sing, O heavens, for the Lord has done this wondrous thing. Shout, O earth; break forth into song, O mountains and forests, yes, and every tree; for the Lord redeemed… and is glorified…The Lord, your Redeemer who made you, says: ā€˜All things were made by me; I alone stretched out the heavens. By myself I made the earth and everything in it.’ Isaiah 44:23
