Days of Autumn

We so enjoyed the days of later autumn that were cooler…it was a blessed reprieve from the heat of the summerand early fall.

We came across this cross at the top of a hill, the original one placed there in the 1847 after a treaty of peace was made between the Comanche nation and settlers.
