Guinevere is still having more testing. The doctor has diagnosed her with autoimmune encephalitis, which is what we expected, based on her neurological symptoms she developed the last year.
The doctor in NY has started her on a new protocol for her Lymes disease…if she responds well to it, it could also help her Dysautonomia and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.
We are also working with specialists at the children’s hospital in Fort Worth. She has continued to decline physically, but has had some improvements neurologically this summer, following treatments that the neurologist suggested.
She has battled lymes disease for six years now, causing other health issues but the last 14 months, since her neurological symptoms began have been a more difficult road, many prayers and more tears. We are thankful she is loved by our Heavenly Father and He holds her in the palm of His hand. He has preserved her life and given much grace.
