February brought an ice storm to our area, with lots of trees and branches coming down and power outages. It left behind a beautiful ice encrusted world, but treacherous to be out in.

The children were delighted with the power outage, Daddy had a forced break from work. and it was time for games and talks!

Sunsets at Lake Belton and a sweet boy…

Picnic supper in the setting sunlight.

Winter walks nearby…beautiful blue skies and lakes.

We miss the snow but Texas has wonderful winters!

We had a much anticipated and eagerly looked forward to visit from Mom/Grammy. The days went too fast…

We enjoyed some outings with Daddy too…

Surveying the landscapes and deciding which way to go…

Evelyn and Savanna are not doing the best, health wise. We continue to pray for wisdom and I do what I know to do for them at home, with different therapies and lifestyle. Evelyn will be starting immunotherapy therapy infusions in Dallas next week. The hope is it will help her immune system function better, which would help her symptoms, and she would be able to function better:

We are thankful for the improvement Jarrod has had, he is not yet thriving. He has some up coming testing and doctor appointments. Trusting the Lord to guide and give us answers and further direction. Praying he will be able to get back on his feet and resume life, and also for continued acceptance in what the Lord has allowed.

To comfort all who mourn…
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified. Isaiah 61:3
How thankful we are that our Father gives beauty for ashes.
