14!

If you ask Peter how old he is, he will tell you he is “a dozen”…but our boy turns 14 today!😊

And we called him Sunshine! So much bubbling joy and laughter in this child!

He found life to be a pleasure…gladness radiated from him…old people loved him!

A new day? Another adventure!

Everything in life and about life was a joy to him.

Especially little sisters!♥️They are the best!

And big sister? There was no one like her in his world! His best friend and patient guide!

With sickness and autoimmune encephalitis, hard days came…His smile and his zest for life, were gone…for a time.

Years of doctors and treatments…terrified of needles and iv’s…

His smile and infectious laughter came back…bringing joy to every doctor and nurse he saw.

Drawing became the way he expressed himself…and it was a very happy world he created!

Life became confusing and difficult…hard for him to understand but his joy continues to be contagious and his smile is the sweetest sight we see.

O LORD, You have searched me and known me…You wove me in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well…And in Your book were all written
