Spring has been in full bloom here…a very different feeling spring from the north.I have been told that this is an “off” year for the bluebonnets of Texas… but they are still some booming profusely in some places along with the Indian paint brush (above). A Texas Bluebonnet❤Spring down here has more the feeling of summer for us… we are enjoying seeing greenness cover the countryside… and amazed at the speed of new growth. Leaves and grass growing at rapid speed! Where only recently greys and browns covered the landscape…It is now vivid shades of green. So many wild flowers in full bloom… in every color and size!Redbuds, one of my favorite flowering trees in Ohio are in full bloom everywhere! “She will fill your lives with sunshine and your hearts with love.” This little one doesn’t miss a flower… every one she sees is more beautiful than the last.😊“For the beauty of the earth, for the glory of the skies, for the love which from our birth over and around us lies. Christ, our Lord, to you we raise this, our hymn of grateful praise.”. (from an old hymn)“…The Lord…is like a father to us, tender and sympathetic to those who reverence him. For he knows we are but dust and that our days are few and brief, like grass, like flowers, blown by the wind and gone forever. But the loving-kindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting to those who reverence him;” from Psalm 103
